Their message to Madrid
Fun fact
The video for Rambla, starring a pair of hands dancing in ecstasy, was nominated at the UK Music Video Awards for best low-budget video.

Who they are
farmar is the solo project of Mario Fartacek, a producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Vienna. Before signing his own name he had worked on more than forty albums and won, among other awards, an Amadeus, Austria's main music award.
In 2026 he released his first EP, Can I Be Your Friend?, and in May, Rambla. He played with ATZUR on their last Spanish tour, and in November he is back with his own: Madrid on Wednesday the 4th and Barcelona on Thursday the 5th.

He moves on his own frequency: years shaping other people's songs from the far side of the studio glass, and suddenly front row. He turns up when the night needs him and he's gone before anyone gets his name.
A song named after the question almost nobody dares to ask on the dance floor. The Catalyst doesn't start the night, it lights it: this is the spark.
The read
Euphoric and calm at once: a joy made of contrasts that pulls you into a trance full of energy.
It's a melodic ritual that makes you move. You feel it in your veins, and it builds until all you want is to share this moment with someone on the dance floor, with whoever's near you. Hopefully at his concert on Wednesday 4 November.
Put it on before you go out, right before you head to Clamores to see him.
Listen with: your Vigil, the friend who notices everything and tells you on the way out who was looking at you.
Why we love it
Why this song? Because there are nights when someone interests you so much you already know you'll have a story together, and all you want is to know their name. And because it's how he introduces himself, with a wink: after years in the shadows, producing more than forty records for others, now he's the one whose name we should know.
Think Jamie xx, Moderat, The Blaze, and like Rambla, the song he wrote in Barcelona and is now touring Spain with, it opens up slowly until you're inside it, dancing freely with a stranger in a foreign country.
